RTS radio talks about the MixMyRide project and interviews Franco TUFO, Director of Citec, about this Mobility as a Service (MaaS) application including carpooling.

Launched in March 2023, the MixMyRide app covers the regions of Geneva, Zurich-Winterthur and Lugano offering an intermodal route search service. If you are a car driver with free seats available in your car, you can enter your  routes, and they will be suggested to other users looking for rides. The resulting reduction in solo car drive and the negative externalities  are at the core of the objectives pursued by this project funded by the SFOE.

This interview was an opportunity to announce the extension of the pilot activities until the end of April 2024, as well as the doubling of the incentives to drivers, increasing from 0.15 CHF to 0.30 CHF per kilometer!
