The City of Lugano increases the incentive to carpooling up to 30 LGVA per kilometer

Starting on 22 February, the carpooling incentives promoted by the City of Lugano in the MixMyRide experimental project double in value, increasing to 30 LVGA (0.30 CHF) for each kilometer travelled in carpooling. This will allow SUPSI researchers to thoroughly explore the role of financial incentives to support alternatives to solo car use. The incentives, offered in LVGA, will be granted until the end of Apri 2024 to those offering rides in carpooling through the MixMyRide app. Thanks to such incentives,  passengers will access carpooling rides for free, and the whole local economy will get benefits via the use of LVGAs.
