In last May 2024, MixMyRide research project was presented at TRA Conference in Dublin (read previous article).
The consortium of MixMyRide has submitted an article ‘Integrating Carpooling in Mobility-as-a-Service Platforms: Learnings from Co-design Activities’ and it was recently published on the magazine Transport Transition and it is available here. The article wraps up the material and methods used for this project as well as results and guidelines.
And artificial intelligence algorithms to match the mobility demand and offer. It allows planning and booking multimodal trips that combine walking and public transport routes with cycling routes and rides offered by other citizens (carpooling), thus creating an innovative “Public-Private-
People Partnership” for the co-production of a new mobility service, which offers multimodal, time-effective,
and flexible on-demand mobility options.
